(More customer reviews)Purchased this item to recharge the A/C on my 1997 Dodge Caravan. It's handy having the refrigerant can screwed into the base of the gun and having the gauge between the refrigerant can and the low side port. After attaching a new can of refrigerant to the gun pull trigger briefly to push air out of the hose, now attach the hose coupler to the low side port of A/C system. Reminder - vehicle should be running with A/C turned to coldest setting, fan on MAX speed (but I guess you wouldn't be looking at this review if you didn't know the basics). Anyway I liked how you can read the pressure in the system by letting up on the trigger, checking so you don't over-charge. Gun has nice heft and seems solidly made. Recommended.
