(More customer reviews)I wasted 2 cans of freon with this kit before I discovered it had been made wrong. There is a check valve in the tee that the gage is attached to.In my kit I could read the system pressure but the check valve would not allow the freon to go from the can into the system. Before you attach this kit to a can, and preferrablly before you buy it, open the fitting that attaches to the can and blow into it. You should feel air coming out the end that attaches to the low pressure fitting. If not try another or buy a different kit. The second kit I bought, made by interdynamics, also had a problem in that I had to push the low pressure connector onto the fitting to make it open the schrader valve and allow the freon in. I did get my AC recharged finally and it probably was a lot cheaper than paying some shop even with the two kits and 3 cans of freon but it was harder than it needed to be. Oh the joys of cheap stuff made in China!
