(More customer reviews)I was surprised how well made this set is considering the inexpensive price. The hoses, fittings, and manifold are well made. I used it to check out and recharge an AC system and it all worked well. You will need a can tap/valve to go with this set. The hoses all have schradder valves built into the end fitting which hold the pressure/vacuum in the lines. Overall, this system is a great value. The only improvement would be to have a sight glass in the charging port of the manifold, however you can easily tell when the can is empty by shaking it.
