(More customer reviews)I got the sockets just TWO DAYS ago. I bought this product particularly for the 10mm socket. So, I've only used the 10mm SO FAR... for about five times at the most. Initially, I was apprehensive that the magnets would not be strong enough to carry the bolts/nuts. They seem to be good enough. The sockets seem to be of good workmanship. The problem with my set is that the SPRING THAT WORKS WITH THE MAGNET BROKE ON THE VERY SECOND DAY I WAS USING IT. So even if you have a good magnet, good workmanship of the socket, but have a LOUSY SPRING, the set still is USELESS.
To complicate matters, I do not even know where to go for warranty or for repairs. So now, I have a investment of about a $100 on magnetic sockets that are turning out to be nothing more than regular sockets. If the spring broke on the 10mm, do you think it will be any different with the other sockets?
This seems to be the problem with buying from Amazon. If anything goes wrong with the product, who do we run to for warranties or repairs? Amazon? How?
I WOULD DEFINITELY RATE THIS AS A "DO NOT BUY" PRODUCT.
