(More customer reviews)Delco compressors are the way to go when repairing the air conditioning systems of GM vehicles. All to often, DIY's use aftermarket parts, (Factory Air, Four Seasons, ect.) and for the most part these parts are good replacements, but they are by their very nature, aftermarket copies of the originals (ACDelco). Take it from an experienced ASE Master Technician, buy the original part and forget the hassles of an aftermarket part. Sure the aftermarket part will will most often than not fit the same as an original, but most legitimate repair facilities will only install original equipment parts because they don't have to worry about come backs (customers that return with the same problem). In the end, the original equipment part will perform better over the long run and will only cost a small amount more the the aftermarket. Just think about, after all of the work to remove the compressor, flush the system, evacuate the system and recharge with new refrigerant, do you you really want to do the job over when the compressor fails? Do it right the first time, the compressor is the heart of your air conditioning system and shouldn't be left to chance. I hope this helps.
