(More customer reviews)This air conditioning leak detection dye is a blend of ester oil and florescent dye. Its used to help locate slow leaks in R134a refrigerant systems. The dye is expensive, and the larger the countainer, the cheaper per oz. Also the larger the cartridge, the harder it is to track. This size worked out well, I used to buy the 8 oz, but after one got broken, and another disappeared, I decided to buy a smaller size so you could see how much was used on each job. The amazon price is at least $10 less the my local supplier.
